PARISH BAPTISM PROCESS

With great pleasure, we offer the sacrament of Baptism to your child and, together with our parish community, welcome your family to St. Mary’s Parish, Echuca.

Baptisms are held on the 2nd Weekend of the Month at any of our Masses. Our Parish Priest, Fr. Novelito ‘Novie’ Lim, welcomes baptisms to be celebrated during Mass. He will introduce your child to our Parish Family, and Baptism occurs during Mass.

Our mass times are 6.00 pm Saturday Vigil and Sunday’s 9.30 am.

A member of our Baptism Preparation Team will contact you to set up your Baptism Preparation Meeting. All families must attend our Baptism Preparation program. The meetings are held at St. Mary’s Parish Centre 224-230 Anstruther Street, Echuca. The Baptism Preparation Program aims to familiarise families with the Sacrament of Baptism and the ceremony of baptism and welcome families into our Parish.

A fee of $100.00 is payable when booking the Baptism, which assists the church in supplying items such as certificates, candles, and oils. We also appreciate a donation of offering for Fr Novie, which can be given on the day of Baptism. If you have any problems, please talk about this with our Parish Staff.
